'Fringe' - "August" Review

Sunday, November 22, 2009 2

I've started writing for Airlock Alpha, and I just wrote my first piece -- a review on the most recent episode of Fringe, "August."* You can read it there and then comment here. That sounds pretty reasonable, right?

Oh, and if you haven't seen the episode, I got you covered:

I conversed with 'White Collar's' Tiffani Theissen (and that makes me important)

Okay, well I actually only got to ask her two questions via a conference call, but it totally counts. It happened last Wednesday, and with the exceptions of the moderator getting my first name wrong (and immortalizing that misnomer via conference call transcript) and me being one of the last people to get to even ask Tiffani a question (meaning that every good question I had was already asked by the time my turn to actually speak came), it was pretty informative.

TGIF - Boy Meets World, "The Psychotic Episode"

Friday, November 13, 2009 2
I'm starting something new here -- just go with it. TGIF was awesome, and I think I'll remind you of that every Friday from now...to when I get bored again.

Credit-only internships are the worst!

And I think Liz Lemon would agree with me about that.

So as you may (or simply may not care to) know, I'm graduating college in December. That's worth a "YAY," right? And hhile I've been applying to places in Los Angeles from the comfort of my Floridian home -- you know, for job security and that whole thing -- the plan is to move to LA right away and really start the job search there.

You're with me so far, right? Good.

To second chances!

Wednesday, October 28, 2009 0

I'm currently giving TNT's Raising the Bar a second chance and finding myself actually enjoying it. I originally gave up on the show before it had even aired -- I'd watched the leaked pilot and, comparing it to the other new (at the time) TNT series with an Angel alum as a regular (Leverage), I barely found it tolerable. It was predictable and just... bad. With the hair (you know what I'm talking about) and the (of course he's) gay guy and the far too cranky judge. So I guess I got nicer between then and now, because I found myself not hating it this time around. I'll even say that I actually (kind of) like it now. Just another example of my mother always being right.
